The second dive of the morning was at Wooded Island, a small island just off Tiritiri Matangi Island. During the surface interval we snorkeled out to Wooded Island. Some divers were looking for muscles but I just wanted to take a little tour of the island from the surrounding water.

A relatively uneventful dive but it did give me a chance to try out a new red filter on my GoPro to get some truer colours below 3 m (9 ft). I think it works reasonably well.

I also ran into a school of fish in a small crevasse. It's pretty entertaining watching them dart in and out.

We ascended and hopped back into the boat for a quick and calm ride back to the marina.
