Middle Arch

January 19, 2020

Our final dive on Poor Knights Islands was at Middle Arch and Bernie's Cave. It turned out to be popular spot. By the time we got there there were already two other dive operators putting people in the water. No worries.

Bernie's Cave has a concrete statue of a frog. People get pictures of themselves kissing the frog. It's one of those goofy dive things that you come across from time to time. So I got a picture of myself kissing the fog.

The top of the cave had an air bubble area so another photo op.

The visibility through Middle Arch itself wasn't too good and the light was dim. There was lots of debris in the water so the backscatter was bad too. No pictures of that but more scorpionfish and moray eels!
