Yucab Reef

November 17, 2012

The second dive of the morning at Yuca was great for large fish. It seemed like everytime I turned a corner or looked under a reef there was a relatively large fish hanging out.

Fish

Trunkfish

Triggerfish

Parrotfish

The winds picked up and the weather cooled off considerably on the way back to the harbour. I threw on my well-worn green Quiksilver bunnyhug to heat up. Thanks to a special girl for giving this to me way back when.

It turned out that the next day the waters were too choppy and the authorities closed down the ports. This turned out to be my last dive in Cozumel on the trip. The diving was great and I'm looking forward to continuing exploring the islands dive sites next time.
