Crayfish Catch Dive 2

December 9, 2023

I had much more success on dive 2. I found a number of crayfish all over. A few stragglers here and there and a group tucked between two rocks. I was able to fill up my bag to the catch limit of six.

When I brought them home, I introduced our new dog to the crayfish. I was expecting more of a reaction but all he did was sniff at them a bit. No big deal.

Dog Meet Crayfish

These are some good looking crayfish.

Crayfish

This time around I covered the tails in a simple sauce and popped them in the oven. The initial meal was delicious and we put the leftovers in a fried rice that fed us for another two meals. Great catch!
