I went on a 6 day dive trip with Dive Wellington up to the Northland region of New Zealand. It's the first time I've done a dive trip like this and we did 11 dives over those days.
- HMNZS Canterbury Stern
- Putahataha Island
- Northern Arch
- Landing Bay Pinnacle
- Rikoriko Cave
- Rikoriko Cave Night Dive
- The Canyons
- Maomao Arch
- Middle Arch
- Rainbow Warrior
- HMNZS Canterbury Bow
It was among the best diving of my life and all thanks to Northland Dive.

They're an absolutely top notch dive tour operator. Julia and Shane run a great lodge in Northland with excellent cooking and they work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly.
And their passion for diving is immediately apparent. Shane was primarily responsible for the scuttling of the HMNZS Canterbury in Deep Water Cove as a dive wreck.
They also run the live aboard ship, Sun Spy, that we took out to Poor Knights Islands. She's a fine ship that comfortably slept our entire group of 10. It was my first time on a live aboard and I was not disappointed. And it has a dive lift to boot!

At the end of the trip, the organiser from Dive Wellington even arranged for us to visit the Hyperbaric Chamber in Auckland. Pretty cool as I'd never seen one before and I hope to never see one again!

All in all it was an amazing trip and I can't recommend Northland Dive highly enough.
